Record and group a Stallion play

Scenario

Say you placed a Stallion-style promo bet and, if needed, a related lay.

You want Tracker to record the actual bets and evaluate the setup as one group.

Record the primary bet

Add the bookmaker promo bet first.

The primary bet should be:

  • a linked single-runner Back bet
  • marked as Promo
  • using the promotion type that matches the Stallion mode
  • entered with the actual stake and odds

For bonus bet on place, include the run-to position. For bonus bet on win, include the bonus bet value. For profit boost on win, include the boost percentage.

Record the related lay

If you placed a lay, add it as a second bet.

The related lay should be:

  • a linked single-runner Lay bet
  • on the same runner as the primary bet
  • entered with the actual lay stake, lay odds, and commission

Add the group

Add a Stallion group.

Set:

Stallion Mode

Choose the mode that matches the promo: bonus bet on place, bonus bet on win, or profit boost on win.

Promo back bet

Select the primary bookmaker bet.

Related lay

Select the lay bet if there is one.

Fair odds

Enter the win fair odds, and place fair odds for bonus bet on place setups.

Common mistakes

  • Forgetting to mark the primary bet as Promo.
  • Using an unlinked primary bet.
  • Selecting a lay on the wrong runner.
  • Missing place fair odds for bonus bet on place.
  • Leaving the promotion value blank.
