Multi or SGM

Record a multi or same-game multi

Scenario

Say you placed a multi at a bookmaker.

You want Tracker to record every leg and calculate the result correctly.

Normal multi

For a normal multi, leave Same Game Multi off.

Add each leg separately and enter the odds for each leg. Link legs where possible so Tracker can result them automatically.

Check any warning about same-event overlap. If two legs are from the same event and the bet is actually a same-game multi, switch to the SGM workflow.

Same-game multi

For a SGM, turn on Same Game Multi.

Tracker asks for SGM Odds. Enter the overall bookmaker SGM price.

Add the legs for record-keeping, but do not enter individual leg odds. In SGM mode, the combined bookmaker price is the price that matters.

Settlement

Leave unsettled legs as Pending.

After settlement, linked legs may result automatically. If not, open the entry and set the leg statuses manually.

Common mistakes

  • Recording a SGM as a normal multi.
  • Entering individual SGM leg odds instead of the overall SGM odds.
  • Forgetting to add every leg.
  • Ignoring warnings about same-event structure.
