Promo Bet

Record a promotional bet

Scenario

Say you placed a bookmaker bet that has a promotion attached.

You want the promo terms to be part of the Tracker entry.

Add the bet

Create a new entry and add the bet as usual: stake, bookmaker, date, direction, and legs.

Turn on Promo.

Choose the promotion

Select the promotion type that matches the offer.

For structured promotions, Tracker can ask for extra details:

Bonus Bet Value

Use this when the promo awards a bonus bet.

Boost Percentage

Use this for profit boosts on winning bets.

Run To Position

Use this for bonus bet on place promos.

Maximum Legs That Can Miss

Use this for multi-miss bonus bet promos.

Use Other when the promotion needs to be tracked manually.

After settlement

If the promo awards a bonus bet, record the bonus balance change. If Tracker adds the bonus change from the promotion, check the amount and expiry before saving.

Common mistakes

  • Turning on Promo but not selecting the promotion type.
  • Entering a profit boost as a dollar amount instead of a percentage.
  • Forgetting the bonus bet expiry.
  • Expecting Other promotions to settle automatically.
