Normal Back Bet

Record a normal bookmaker back bet

Scenario

Say you placed a normal cash back bet at a bookmaker.

You want Tracker to record the stake, odds, selection, and final result.

Add the bet

Create a new entry and add one bet.

Set:

Stake

Enter the cash stake you placed.

Bookmaker

Select the bookmaker where the bet was placed.

Bet Direction

Use Back.

Leave Bonus Bet, Same Game Multi, Override Cost, Override Return, and Promo off unless one of those actually applies.

Add the leg

Use Link Leg if the selection exists in PuntPilot's data. That gives Tracker the best chance of automatic resolution and CLV.

If the selection is not available, use Add Unlinked Leg and enter the details manually.

Enter the odds and leave the status as Pending if the bet has not settled.

After settlement

If the linked leg auto-results, review the entry after settlement.

If the leg does not auto-result, open the entry and set the status to Winner, Loser, Void / Push, Half Win, or Half Lose.

Common mistakes

  • Recording the suggested stake instead of the actual stake.
  • Forgetting to update moved odds.
  • Leaving an unlinked settled bet as Pending.
  • Marking a normal cash bet as Bonus Bet.
