Middle

Record and group a middle play

Scenario

Say you placed two bookmaker bets that form a middle.

You want Tracker to record the bets and evaluate them together.

Add the two bets

Create one entry and add both bets.

Each bet should be:

  • a Back bet
  • linked to PuntPilot's data
  • a single-runner bet
  • entered with its actual stake and odds

Do not mark either bet as SGM or Bonus Bet unless that is genuinely true.

Add the group

Add a Middle group.

Select:

Higher leg

The bet on the higher side of the middle.

Lower leg

The bet on the lower side of the middle.

Fair odds

Enter the fair odds used when you evaluated the middle.

Tracker validates whether the selected bets form a valid middle pairing.

Save and settle

Save the entry once the group metrics make sense.

After the event settles, check that both legs resolved correctly.

Common mistakes

  • Creating two separate entries for one middle.
  • Using unlinked legs, which prevents middle validation.
  • Selecting the higher and lower legs backwards.
  • Grouping bets that do not form a valid middle.
