An introduction to the Tracker dashboard

In the last course, we introduced the concept of tracking your profit through the PuntPilot Tracker. In this section, we'll take a closer look at the Tracker dashboard.

A look at the dashboard

Navigate to the Tracker to access the dashboard. You'll be greeted with four tabs. Selecting any of these tabs will present a graph displaying:

  • Profit - Your profit to date, not including any pending bets over time.
  • Cash Balance - Your available cash balance for placing bets by bookmaker.
  • Bonus Balance - Any bonus funds available for use by bookmaker.
  • Bets - A history of your placed bets.

Below the charts you'll see a table, with each row representing a bookmaker you've placed a bet with. This table is incredibly useful for helping maintain sustainability in your betting strategy. Let's go through what each of the columns mean.

  • Cash Bet Count - The total number of cash bets (i.e. not bonus bets) placed with each bookmaker.
  • Cash Bet Total Stake - The total amount of money staked on cash bets with each bookmaker.
  • Cash Bet Profit/Loss - The total profit or loss from cash bets with each bookmaker.
  • Bonus Bet Count - The total number of bonus bets placed with each bookmaker.
  • Bonus Bet Total Stake - The total amount of money staked on bonus bets with each bookmaker.
  • Bonus Bet Profit - The total profit or loss from bonus bets with each bookmaker.
  • Bonus Bet Profit/Loss Tracker - Each tracker entry is considered one related betting action. This metric is the cumulative profit or loss from all bonus bets placed with each bookmaker. As lay bets are recorded in the same tracker entry, this metric includes the impact of those lay bets on retention.
  • Bonus Bet Retention Percentage - The percentage of bonus bets that have been successfully retained (i.e. converted to cash) with each bookmaker. This figure is equivalent to (Bonus Bet Profit/Loss Tracker / Bonus Bet Total Stake) * 100.
  • Promo Bet Count - The total number of bets placed with each bookmaker that have a promotion attached.
  • Promo Bet Total Stake - The total amount of money staked on promo bets with each bookmaker.
  • Non Promo EV Bet Count - The total number of non-promotional bets placed with each bookmaker that have a positive expected value (EV).
  • Non Promo EV Bet Total Stake - The total amount of money staked on non-promotional bets with each bookmaker that have a positive expected value (EV).
  • Mug Bet Count - The total number of mug bets placed with each bookmaker. A mug bet is a non-promotional bet that has a negative expected value (EV).
  • Mug Bet Total Stake - The total amount of money staked on mug bets with each bookmaker.
  • Mug Bet Percentage - The percentage of total bets placed with each bookmaker that are considered mug bets. This figure is equivalent to (Mug Bet Count / Total Bet Count) * 100.

Finally, the dashboard breaks down your aggregate cash bet and bonus bet performance. These values are self explanatory.

In the next lesson, we'll cover the Entries, Bets and Balances views.
