Monitoring your Sustainability

Using Tracker to watch your sustainability

Tracker's dashboard provides an overview of your sustainability metrics.

Under the bookmakers section, the important fields to monitor are:

  • Promo Bet Count - This shows how many promotional (qualifying) bets you've placed. The higher this number, the more likely you are to be promo banned.
  • Non Promo EV Bet Count - This indicates how many non-promotional (value) bets you've placed. The higher this number, the more likely you are to be banned. You should avoid value betting on accounts that still have promotions enabled.
  • Mug Bet Percentage - This is the percentage of your bets that are considered "mug bets" (bets that are not part of a matched betting strategy). You want this number to be as high as possible, without jeopardizing your matched betting profitability too greatly.
    • Note: The tracker considers any bet without a promo attached, with a negative expected value (EV) or that isn't a bonus bet to be a mug bet.

If adopting sustainability practices for a specific bookmaker, you should aim to keep your Mug Bet Percentage as close to 50% as possible.
