How Multi Smasher Works

An introduction to Multi Smasher

Multi Smasher

PuntPilot's multi-building tool. Multi Smasher helps you find legs, build a multi, and understand the expected value of the setup before you place it.

TL;DR

Multi Smasher is not one single workflow. It supports regular multis, same-game multis, promo multis, and value-built multis.

The important habit is the same in every mode: pick the right workflow first, then build from legs whose prices still match what you can actually place.

What Multi Smasher does

Multi Smasher turns individual leg prices into a multi candidate.

Depending on the workflow, it can:

  • show exchange-backed legs for hedged multi promos
  • show value legs priced by Derived, Line, Implied, or Sharp for unhedged multis
  • suggest premade value multis
  • show same-game multi legs inside one event
  • calculate summary metrics as you add and remove legs
  • save the selected Non-SGM play to Scratchpad after you place it

The two main paths

The first screen asks you to choose between two paths.

Non-SGM

Use this for regular multis where legs can come from different events. This path supports Promo mode and Value Builder mode.

SGM

Use this for same-game multis inside one event. SGM mode gives leg-level value guidance, but it does not treat the selected legs as independent.

Promo mode and Value Builder

Non-SGM has two different jobs.

Promo

Use Promo mode when you are targeting a bookmaker multi offer, such as bonus back on loss or profit boost on win.

Value Builder

Use Value Builder when you want to build a normal value multi from positive-value legs, without promo terms driving the calculation.

Promo mode asks for promo terms and stake. Value Builder uses bankroll and Kelly settings to size the final stake.

Fair odds sources

Hedged Promo uses exchange lay prices. Unhedged Promo, Value Builder, and SGM share the Positive EV source controls.

Exchange

Available for Non-SGM Promo when hedging. Exchange mode uses lay prices to calculate hedge stakes and outcome returns.

Derived

Uses devigged fair odds for markets with a suitable fair-odds grouping.

Line

Estimates a proposition from qualifying nearby consensus lines in the same event unless enabled Derived pricing already has sufficient support at the exact proposition.

Implied

Uses weighted market-average odds. It operates independently when selected alone; otherwise supported Derived and Line pricing take precedence.

Sharp

Uses the raw prices of the sharp bookmakers you select as fair references.

You can select several EV sources, each with its own EV range. Derived, Line, and Implied also have separate minimum source counts. See Using Filters for the controls.

SGMs need more care

Same-game multi legs are correlated. Multi Smasher can help you find legs that look fairly priced or valuable, but it cannot fully price the combined SGM the way it can for independent legs.
