Bonus Back Promo

Use Multi Smasher for a bonus back multi offer

Scenario

Say a bookmaker is offering a bonus bet back if a multi loses by a small number of legs.

You want to model the promo terms, build the multi, and decide whether the expected value is worth placing.

Set up the workflow

Choose Non-SGM, then use Promo mode.

Open filters with Filters and set:

Bookmaker

Select the bookmaker offering the promotion.

Strategy

Use Hedged if you are laying the legs at the exchange. Use Unhedged if you are leaving the multi unhedged.

Legs

Set the number of legs required by the promo.

Min Multi Odds

Enter the bookmaker's minimum combined odds requirement, if there is one.

Stake

Enter the stake you plan to place.

Enter the promo terms

In Bonus Bet on Loss, set:

  • Misses
  • Returned
  • Retention

Retention should be your realistic conversion value for the returned bonus bet, not the face value unless you genuinely expect to keep all of it.

Build and place

Add legs that fit the promo rules and still have live prices.

Check the summary:

  • leg count is met
  • minimum multi odds are met
  • Expected Value is acceptable
  • Profit Range is acceptable
  • outcome matrix matches the promo shape

Once the selected prices match the bookmaker and exchange, place first, then save with .

Common mistakes

  • Entering Returned but forgetting Retention.
  • Using the wrong Misses setting.
  • Building a multi that fails the minimum odds rule.
  • Saving before the multi and lays are actually placed.
  • Letting one leg move and still trusting the old summary.
