Profit Boost Promo

Use Multi Smasher for a boosted winning multi

Scenario

Say a bookmaker is offering a profit boost if your multi wins.

You want to check whether the boost turns the selected multi into a worthwhile play.

Set up the workflow

Choose Non-SGM, then use Promo mode.

Open filters with Filters and set:

Bookmaker

Select the bookmaker offering the boost.

Strategy

Use Hedged if you are laying the legs. Use Unhedged if you are taking the full multi variance.

Legs

Set the number of legs required by the boost.

Stake

Enter the stake you plan to place.

Profit Boost

Enter the boost percentage from the offer.

Leave bonus-back fields at zero unless the offer also includes those terms.

Build and place

Add legs that satisfy the promo and still have live odds.

Before placing, check:

  • Multi Odds
  • Profit Range
  • Expected Value
  • leg count requirement
  • minimum multi odds requirement
  • exchange lay stakes if hedged

Place the multi while the prices are live, place any exchange lays if using Hedged mode, then save with .

Common mistakes

  • Entering the boost as a decimal instead of a percentage.
  • Forgetting that the boost applies to profit, not returned stake.
  • Leaving bonus-back fields populated from a previous setup.
  • Ignoring the downside shown in Profit Range.
  • Saving stale selected-leg prices.
