Low-Cost Account Activity

Use Middles for normal-looking betting activity

Scenario

Say you want normal-looking activity at one or more bookmaker accounts, but you do not want to throw away value.

Middles can help you find line-market plays where the miss cost is small and the upside is still meaningful.

Set up the filters

Open filters with Filters and focus on cost control:

Sort By
SR

Use SR sorting when your main goal is keeping the miss outcome cheap.

Min SR

Raise this if you only want very low-cost or no-loss setups.

Bookmakers

Select the accounts where you want activity, or use Key Bookmakers if only one account needs activity.

Markets

Choose normal markets for the account and sport.

Keep an EV filter in place so you are not just placing low-cost negative-value bets.

Pick a candidate

Start with whether the play looks normal, then check SR, EV, and Hit.

A small edge can be enough for account activity. The point is not to force the biggest middle; it is to place something defensible that still has a sensible return profile.

Place, save, and track

Once the play fits the account and both prices are live:

  1. Place both bookmaker bets.
  2. Save the play with if the displayed candidate still matches what you placed.
  3. Enter both actual stakes.
  4. Add it from Scratchpad to Tracker.

Common mistakes

  • Chasing the biggest Hit return when it looks unnatural for the account.
  • Dropping the EV filter entirely.
  • Ignoring market and league context.
  • Letting one leg use a bookmaker where you did not want extra activity.
  • Forgetting to track the play afterwards.
