Middles Alert

Create an alert for useful middle candidates

Scenario

Say you want to be notified when a middle has enough upside and the miss cost is acceptable.

Set up the rule

Create a new alert and choose Middles.

Use filters like:

Sort by
EV

Start with expected value when you want the best middle candidates first.

Min EV

Set the minimum edge you are willing to inspect.

Min SR

Raise this when you want lower miss cost or near-arb shapes.

Show arbs

Leave this on when you want pure arbs included.

Key bookmakers

Use this if one account must be part of the play.

Delivery workflow

When an alert arrives, verify both legs.

Check that:

  • both bookmakers still show the same lines
  • both odds are still available
  • the required stakes are acceptable
  • the miss return and hit return still fit the strategy
  • no leg moved before you place the other

Common mistakes

  • Only checking EV and ignoring SR.
  • Placing one leg after the other leg has moved.
  • Ignoring weak source support on one side.
  • Saving the alert odds instead of the odds actually placed.
