Convert a bonus bet with an exchange lay
Say you have a bonus bet at TAB and want to convert it through a normal back-lay setup.
The bonus bet stake is not returned if it wins, so SNR is the return that matters.
Open and set:
Include your bonus bet bookmaker and an exchange you can use. Radar considers their eligible back and lay prices together.
SNR ranks bets around the bonus bet conversion result.
Set the bonus bet bookmaker as the key bookmaker. For SNR, Radar treats a back leg at a key bookmaker as the bonus bet.
Results can also contain other combinations from those providers. For this example, choose a two-leg row with a back bet and a lay on the same outcome.
Start with the SNR return. If the number is not good enough, move on.
If the bet is worth checking, confirm:
Do not place the bookmaker bet until you have checked that the exchange lay price is still available.
Open for the bet.
Use the exchange calculator to check:
If the liability is too high, the bet may not be worth using even if the conversion rate looks good.
Once the live bookmaker and exchange prices match the candidate closely enough:
Do not chase a moved lay price
If the exchange lay price moves before you place the lay bet, recalculate in Bet Stats before continuing. A small move can change the conversion enough to make the bet no longer worth using.
