TAB
TAB are known for being generous with their new account offer.
Typically, a user signing up for the first time with TAB can expect to receive a 100% deposit match bonus up to $100.
Whilst we're going to be using this bonus to place our first bet, the process of signing up for a TAB account is similar to that of any other bookmaker.
Signing up
As you progress through your advantage betting journey, it'll be in your interest to open as many bookmaker accounts as possible. We've made the process of signing up for new bookmaker accounts super simple.

Head over to the bookmakers section of our website.

Locate TAB in the "Early Stage" section. You'll see a button that says "Sign Up". Click it.

You'll be directed to the TAB website where you can complete the registration process.

Most of the registration form is self-explanatory. You'll be asked to choose "Your Location".
TAB are the only bookmaker who will ask you to do this. This refers to the regulatory jurisdiction that will apply to your account. It does not have to match your actual location.
Due to licensing leniency, we suggest choosing VIC.
Once your account is created, you may need to verify your identity before you can start betting. This usually involves providing some form of identification, such as a driver's license or passport.
Some important notes about registering for bookmaker accounts:
- If asked for a username, always use a username different to any associated with your public advantage betting profiles. This includes your Discord username.
- Remember to use your advantage betting email address that you signed up for in the previous course.
- Always use your real personal details. Bookmakers are required to implement KYC (know your customer) procedures. If you use fake information, your account will be suspended.
- When making deposits or withdrawals from your bookmaker accounts, make sure your payment details match your registered information. If they don't, your account will be suspended.
- Make sure you opt in to receiving promotional material!
Now that you've created and verified your TAB account, you're ready to make your first deposit and claim your bonus.
Claiming your deposit bonus
Once your account has been verified (make sure it has been verified), head on over to the deposit page, where you should see the option to claim your deposit match.
There's no reason not to deposit the maximum amount to take full advantage of the bonus.
A heads up about turnover requirements...
Once you've deposited money into a bookmaker account, it cannot be withdrawn until you have met the turnover requirements. This means the amount deposited must be wagered at least once before you can cash out any winnings. This is a requirement under Australian Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws.
As advantage bettors, we have ways of meeting these requirements without too much worry, risk or cost. However, it's important to be aware of this requirement when choosing how much money to deposit into your bookmaker accounts, as it cannot be immediately withdrawn.
Additionally, some bookmakers require you to turnover your deposit a certain number of times to be eligible for deposit bonuses and other promotions (sometimes with minimum odds for each bet). Make sure to review each new bookmaker's promotion T&Cs carefully. This becomes more important as you descend the ladder of bookmakers.
Recording your deposit
You've just made your first trackable action as a advantage bettor! Each time you make a deposit, withdrawal or place a bet, you'll want to record it in the Tracker.
We make this super easy to do right from the Tracker dashboard.
In the bottom floating navigation capsule you'll see a deposit button next to the "Add Entry" button. Click it.
In the "Deposit Amount" field, enter the amount you deposited into your TAB account. For "Bookmaker", select TAB (obviously).
Once you've recored your deposit, you should also record the bonus you've received.
Change over to the "Entries" tab, and select "View" for the deposit entry you just created.
Desktop: Click the + next to the "Balances" heading in the sidebar.
Mobile: Click the open sidebar button in the top right (next to "Delete"). Click the + next to the "Balances" heading in the sidebar.
Make sure you select "Bonus" for the balance type, and enter the amount of the bonus you received from TAB.
